The bricks used to build this house were Glen-Gery Lorraine Full Range oversized, hand-made bricks.  The arches over the garage doors, with keystones in the center, were constructed using whole bricks.  A template was made to support the brick work until the mortar was set.  The joints were tooled with a grapevine striking iron.  This house features quoin corners, arches over the windows and doors, a slate entry way plus half-moon louvers in the gables.
